Mavena products are no
ordinary self care products for Psoriasis and Eczema. |
The medical self care products of Mavena
are - in contrast to
most self care products - specifically developed and formulated for
the daily care of the problematic skin of patients with Psoriasis
and Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema). The medical products Mavena
been developed in close collaboration with dermatologists from
Germany, Switzerland and Israel.
Why are Mavena products different than other self care products?
Most of the media attention is paid to the promotion of care
products for the (very) dry skin and problematic skin with Psoriasis
and Eczema Patients. In general most of these products condition the
skin properly, but only alleviate the symptoms.
The care products of Mavena Health Care contain additional
ingredients to supple and moist (moisture) the skin such as; urea.
Furthermore they contain essential ingredients that provide an
effective approach and reduction of the complaints.
In he Herbal products line (yellow
line) an important added ingredient is Hamamelis, that provides
inhibition of infection, which often play an important role in
Eczema Patients.
In the Mg46 Line (blue
line) an important added ingredient are magnesium ions, which play
an important role in regulating the process of peeling the skin in
Psoriasis Patients.
Mavena® B12 Ointment
(Regividerm® )
Besides the care products, which are of major importance for a good
condition of the skin, Mavena offers for mild to moderate forms of
Psoriasis and Eczema, Mavena® B12 Ointment.
The main ingredient of this ointment is Vitamin B12, which reduces
the infection of the skin. The ointment can provide significant
reduction in symptoms. The ointment reduces inflammation, but
contains no steroids [hormones] and is therefore very suitable as
initial therapy in children aged 1 year.
Mavena® B12 Ointment is a registered Class II A medical
device and is clinically tested.
Mavena® B12 Ointment contains no
perfumes, dyes and synthetic preservatives. The pink colour of the
ointment is obtained by Vitamin B12. |
